Rubber Gasket
This structure refers to a sheet-like rubber molded sealing part, most commonly manufactured in the form of circular flat pads, but it can also be produced in various irregular shapes featuring holes, grooves, or concave and convex profiles to match specific installation requirements. These rubber components are designed to fit precisely between mating surfaces, providing an effective and reliable static sealing solution for a wide range of industrial applications.
The primary function of this rubber sheet seal is to fill the microscopic gaps and surface irregularities present at flange connections, joints, and end faces of pipelines or enclosed cavities. When compressed by tightening bolts or fasteners, the rubber material undergoes controlled deformation, allowing it to conform closely to the contact surfaces. This elastic deformation creates a tight sealing barrier that prevents the leakage of liquids, gases, or other media, while also offering resistance to dust, moisture, and environmental contaminants.
